6/6/2024 – For sale is a Colt Model 1911A1 made in 1943. The overall condition of the handgun is 95% with finish wear towards the muzzle of the slide and frame. The slide was replaced with a commercial Colt Government model. The barrel is marked C in a square and is bright with good rifling. The frame is stamped GHD on the left side for inspector mark. The cross cannons stamp on the right side is worn. There are chatter marks on the left side of the slide below the Colt stamp.
