5/15/24 – This is a post WW2 Czechoslovakian M53 helmet. The exterior shell of the helmet is in great condition with typical scratches and abrasions throughout but still has the majority of its original finish. The inside is ink stamped with the crossed swords and 53 indicating its a M53 helmet. There is also an ink stamp on the other side of I-01. The liner appears to be original but is not marked as well as the neck strap. Great piece.
