05/14/2024 – For sale is a pre-WW2 K98k made at the Erfurter Maschinenfabrik (ERMA) in 1938. This rifle finish is in an overall 85% condition as the metal is slightly worn but the stock has been sanded. The bore is in good condition as it is bright but becomes faded towards the muzzle. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the barrel, receiver, bolt, trigger guard, magazine floor, both action screws, rear sight slider & ladder, both barrel bands, bolt release lever, stock, and handguard. The rifle likely went through repair and parts replaced as the bolt sleeve, cocking piece, and safety flag are not serialized. The rifle comes with a 1st model muzzle cover.
