5/8/24 – This is an original 1939 dated Luger holster from WW2. The holster is maker stamped, dated, and waffen proofed on the back leather, however these markings are very faded and the maker mark is not fully legible. The chocolate brown leather has normal wear with surface wrinkling and surface cracking throughout the front leather, closure strap, and top lid of the leather. There are handling marks throughout the back leather. The interior and back leather is in decent shape, but there some gouges and imperfections here and there. The leather is pliable as well. The holster stitching is all original, but there are a few missing stitches on the back belt loops (both loops), left side of the flap, and the tool pouch. The belt loops are still securely fastened to the holster.
