05/07/2024 – For sale is a Winchester Model 1873 assembled in 1884. This rifle is in great condition for its age but has lost most of its original finish. The receiver has a nice patina finish but there are no signs of active rust or corrosion. But there is a sign of old pitting in front of the elevator floor on the bottom of the receiver. The wood furniture is also in great condition with no cracks or breaks. The bore is in great condition and is bright but gets frosted/darker towards the muzzle. The rifle has a replacement dust cover on top of the receiver.
