5/3/24 – This is a WW2 original Party Leader belt and buckle. The buckle is worn on the exterior with significant high edge and rub wear. Some of the eagle and wreath details are washed out due to this surface wear, as shown in photos. The buckle still retains a good portion of the original gold gilded finish however, and the reverse shows a crisp RZM maker stamp M4/23 for Franke & Co.. The leather belt is in very good condition with surface wrinkling throughout and a few minor surface cracks, but no major issues. Both leather fastening / adjustment loops are still in place and the stitching throughout the belt is excellent. The metal hooked end of the belt is matching RZM maker code stamped, M4/23. The interior leather just below this end of the belt is also RZM stamped with a maker and distributor code. Well marked and a nice overall example with honest wear.
