4/17/24 – This is a rare and desirable variation WW2 German Heer Army belt and buckle. These are known as “tropical” examples, made for the Deutsch Afrika Korps. during WW2. The buckle is in great condition with minimal paint / finish loss. There’s some dark patina on the buckle as well as high edge wear. The interior of the buckle is maker stamped and dated, “N&H 1942”. Attached to the buckle is an original leather tab. The leather has surface wear and wrinkling throughout. The maker stamp is visible but not legible. The buckle comes on a minty dark green canvas belt used by the Afrika Korps. The belt has minty stitching and is very clean. Visible ink stamps on the interior of the canvas, as shown. A very nice, rare example.
