3/18/24 – This is an early example of a Winchester Model 52 chambered in .22 long. Production on the model 52 began in 1920, and has been referred to as the King of the .22’s, and called one of the “best 50 guns ever made” by Field & Stream. This example was produced in 1929 and retains about 95% of its original blue, with some thinning on the barrel near the muzzle. Smooth action and strong bore that rates good 9 of 10. The top of the barrel is fitted with scope mounts. Very nice, original stock with minor handling marks. Featuring an original “NoBuckl” canvas sling.
