3/18/24 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser P.38 put together by the French using leftover Nazi parts immediately after WW2, in 1945-46. This one was imported by Interarms. It comes with its original matching Interarms box, owners manual, and two WW2-era P.38 magazines (both waffen proofed). The gun is all matching, has a French star proof on the slide, and has one “Waffen 135” Nazi military acceptance proof on the barrel. Import mark on the underside of the slide. The gun has a desirable all-phosphate finish that rates about 96-97%. Minor high edge wear and minor thinning on the front strap. Fitted with desirable “Grey Ghost” metal grips. The bore has good rifling with light frosting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
