3/14/24 – This is a scarce AC 45 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1945. What makes this one scarce is the capital “A” suffix on the frame and locking block. Only about 5,000 guns feature this oddity. It is believed that, for a short period of time in 1945, the lower case “a” die was broken or unavailable, so the Walther factory was forced to use the capital “A”. This one is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs throughout. This one has a dark “dipped” finish with very little sign of wear, just some light scratches on the slide. Fitted with black bakelite grips and comes with a scarce, late-war, “U” marked Walther magazine. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional.
