2/27/24 – This is a 1911A1 from 1943. The frame was made by Colt, and the slide was made by Union Switch & Signal. High Standard barrel. There is an “RIA” mark on the right side of the frame, indicating it was reworked at the Rock Island Arsenal. There is almost no actual finish loss, just some very light pin-pricking along the right side of the slide. Fitted with period-correct reddish bakelite grips (rack number on the left side of the grip). Comes with WW1-era two-tone magazine with lanyard loop. Mint bore.
