2/27/24 – This is a nice example of a shooter-grade BYF 42 Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. All matching with the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs. Fitted with replacement wood grips and comes with a replaced Swiss-style bakelite bottom magazine. The finish rates roughly 85%. While there isn’t a ton of actual finish loss, there is noticeable spotty discoloration throughout. Very nice bore with good rifling, just some minor freckling in the grooves.
