2/27/24 – This is a Walther PP designated for the Reichs Finanz Verwaltung. It is marked “R.F.V. 21809 W” on the back strap. This Third Reich department was in charge of the borders as well as government financial matters – much like our own IRS and border police. This one also comes with an original RFV pin and has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. There is general high edge wear and thinning on the grip straps. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips and comes with a proper wartime magazine. Minty bore.
