2/23/24 – This is an early WW1 Luger holster. The back of the holster is maker stamped, “A. Wunderlich Nachts” which is faint but still visible, and dated 1911. The holster has an additional interior lid ink stamp which indicates 1912 as the date. Our theory is this was made in 1911 but issued for military use in 1912. the leather is cut underneath the lid as shown. The leather is also slit at the bottom of the holster as shown. There’s some other wear throughout which is expected for its age. All original stitching is intact other than for the luger tool pouch. The lid for this pouch is disconnected but comes with the holster.
