2/6/24 – This is an Arisaka Type 99 issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The bolt is mismatched. The Imperial mum stamp on the receiver is mostly visible, but it has been defaced. The finish on the metal parts rates somewhere between 85-90%. Minor thinning on the receiver and on the floor plate. Light spotty oxidation on most of the metal parts. No major damage to the wood, but it shows the typical signs of wear and use. Mint bore.
