1/18/24 – Located at our Ohio office. This is a nice example of a Mosin-Nagant Model 1891/30 sniper rifle issued to the Soviet military in 1943. Dated on top of the receiver along with a Soviet crest. There is a slight modifications on the bend of bolt handle so it will clear the scope and mount. An after market “TIMNEY” trigger has been installed. An non-period scope mount was added. The gun appears mostly matching, and the number on the magazine has been re-numbered. It’s possible the gun has been arsenal-reworked. Import mark on the receiver. It has retained most of its bluing with a few very light handling marks here and there. The stock is nice, but there are minor dings throughout. The bore has strong rifling and rates a 7 of 10. Includes a Mosin spike bayonet.
