1/3/24 – This is a very nice example of a Saginaw M1 Carbine originally issued to the US military in late 1943. It was reworked after the war. An adjustable rear sight and bayonet were added, likely for re-issue in the Korean War. This one comes with a bayonet and scabbard, two magazines, and a green canvas sling. Inland barrel dated December of 1943. The stock has a flaming bomb proof and is marked “S HB”. The finish rates about 90% with minor wear on the barrel. Excellent wood furniture. Stone-mint bore.
