1/2/24 – This is an original, early US Army Colt Model 1903 or M1905 revolver holster. The holster is maker stamped by Rock Island Arsenal on the back leather, along with a 1904 date stamp and H.E.K. inspector initials. The holster is in great condition considering its age. There some surface wrinkling and scuffing on the exterior leather, as well as mild wrinkling and normal signs of use and aging. The stitching is all original throughout the holster, but the stitching feels somewhat loose along the side of the holster where the seam is stitched together. Intact base and attached leather lanyard / leg strap. Measures about 10 inches long along the rounded edge of leather.
