12/26/23 – This is a Colt 1911 originally issued to the US military in 1919. It was later reworked at the Augusta Arsenal, as evidenced by the “AA” marking on the left side of the frame. “HP” Colt barrel. The entire frame has been refinished. Noticeable thinning along the slide. Fitted with period-correct wood grips and comes with a proper two-tone magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is noticeable spotty surface oxidation throughout.
