12/18/23 – This is an unmarked 7.65mm pistol holster. The style of closure strap indicates this could be either WW1 or WW2 era production. The base of the closure strap seems to be reinforced with metal staples of some kind, and a similar metal staple can be found alongside the holster edge where there’s missing stitches. Again, this style of metal staple is found on the back belt loop as well. Likely a WW2 era repair. The leather is soft and pliable throughout but in great overall condition.
