12/5/23 – Up for sale is an Inland Manufacturing M1 Carbine produced during World War 2. This carbine is in good condition and has seen use around the world. The original parkerized finish on the metal is smooth and worn but has no pitting or rusting. The wood is equally well-worn and has a lot of handling marks but no damage. The rifle has the early flipup sights and the type 1 barrel band installed. The bore is very bright with good rifling. There is an import mark on the barrel. The rifle comes with a green canvas sling, a Type 3 barrel band w/ bayonet lug, two 15-round magazines stamped “SW”, two 30 round magazines, and an army manual for the M1 carbine.
