12/5/23 – This is a Mauser P.38 put together by the French using leftover Nazi parts immediately after WW2. This one was imported by Interarms. It comes with its original matching Interarms box, owners manual, one “Waffen 135”-proofed magazine, and one rare “U” marked magazine. The gun is all matching, has a French star on the right side of the slide, and has a Nazi waffen proof on the barrel. Import mark on the underside of the slide. The gun has an all-phosphate finish. These are inherently difficult to rate, but we believe it has retained around 93%. Minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges in general. Some very light scratches and scuffs here and there. Comes with French metal grips. Very nice bore with strong rifling and some very light frosting throughout. De-cocker is functional. Hang tag is still on the trigger guard.
