12/1/23 – This is an excellent, early Spreewerk P.38 with an “a” prefix. Issued to the German military in February of 1943. All matching with the proper “Eagle 88” military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 96-97% of its original finish. There is muzzle wear, some small spots of wear on the right side of the slide, and a hint of thinning on the front strap. Fitted with excellent period-correct blackish-brown bakelite grips. Comes with a proper Spreewerk magazine. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional.
