11/1/23 – This is a BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. All matching with the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. There is thinning on the front strap and along the barrel. Minor general high edge wear. Some areas of spotty oxidation here and there, most noticeable on the front strap and along the barrel. Fitted with excellent period-correct bakelite grips and comes with a reproduction magazine. The bore has great rifling with pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
