10/23/23 – This is an original, early production 1941 dated P.38 holster. These are far less common than most P.38 holsters, as they were made in much higher quantities during 1942-1944. This example is in great overall condition with some mild surface wrinkling and cracking throughout the front leather and closure strap. No deep cuts in the leather however, and normal pliability throughout. Holds shape nicely, and clean interior leather. All original stitching is tight and intact. The back leather is stamped with crisp markings: maker code, date, waffen proof, and P.38 designation.
