10/6/23 – This is a very nice example of an Arisaka Type 38 issued to the Japanese military during WW2. It is all matching and has a completely intact Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. It also comes with an original matching-numbered dust cover. The bluing rates somewhere between 85-90% with wear around the muzzle and some thinning and spotty oxidation on the floor plate/trigger group. Heavy oxidation on the butt plate. Very nice wood furniture with the typical signs of wear. Comes with a nice leather sling. Mint bore.
