10/5/23 – This is an excellent example of a Springfield M1 Garand. The serial number on the receiver dates to about October of 1943. The barrel is Springfield marked and dated October of 1952. The stock is un-marked. The metal parts have retained about 97% of their finish with just some minor wear on the barrel. The wood furniture is minty with one small gouge on the right side of the butt stock. Muzzle reading: 1. Throat reading: 1. Comes with a green canvas sling.
