9/29/23 – This is a very nice example of an Enfield No 4 Mk 1 made by Fazakerley in 1944. It is all matching. The receiver is marked “FTR 52” for Factory Thorough Repair in 1952. Tiny import mark on the left side of the trigger guard. The gun comes with an original bayonet (not matching), a canvas sling, and an original pair of canvas puttees. The metal parts have retained somewhere between 85-90% of their black enamel finish with minor scuffing and chipping in the finish throughout. Very nice wood stock with no major damage. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
