9/19/23 – This is an excellent example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in May of 1944. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 88” military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with a minty 1943-dated soft shell holster and two period-correct magazines. The gun itself has retained about 94% of its original finish with very minor wear around the muzzle, on the high edges of the slide, and a hint of thinning on the front strap. Fitted with a set of excellent period-correct reddish bakelite grips. Excellent bore. De-cocker is not functional. The hold-open does not work every time.
