9/18/23 – Original and very nice condition. This Garand dates to August of 1943 as indicated by the serial number and the barrel date. The original finish rates about 95% with typical age and use wear. This assembly includes an original military issued carry case with integral rack. The zipper is a little stiff, but completely functional. The stock has a few minor dings as indicated in the photos. The SA inspection stamp and the cross cannon cartouche is visible on the left side of the stock and the letter “P” just behind the trigger. All the parts are correctly SA stamped. The bore is a strong 7.5 of 10 with good rifling. Butt stock cleaning kit and tools included. Smooth operation.
