9/6/23 – This a nice example of a French Unique Model 17 issued into the Nazi military during WW2. The barrel and slide are mismatched to the frame, but it does have the proper “Waffen 251” Nazi military acceptance proof on the right side of the tang. It has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. There is general high edge wear, wear and spotty oxidation on the grip straps, and an area of wear on the right side of the slide (where there is also some minor pitting). Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips and comes with one proper magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
