8/18/23 – This is an excellent condition US Navy issued MK 2 utility knife from WW2. These knives were used as both a weapon and tool during the second world war. This example is in excellent condition, cross guard marked variation, and comes with a fairly scarce leather USN marked scabbard. The blade has a parkerized finish and is excellent overall with mild wear around the tip and along the edge. The cross guard is maker marked and model designation stamped, as shown. The leather handle is tight and excellent. The pommel is pinned in the standard 3rd generation style. The scabbard is excellent with mild wear and aging but no major issues.
