8/17/23 – This is a nice example of a rare Polish Wz 29 rifle made at the Radom factory and issued to the Polish military in 1935. The gun is entirely matching and has the proper Polish Eagle proofs. It comes with a proper FB Radom-made bayonet and scabbard. The wood handle of the bayo is numbered and matching, but there appears to be a faint number on the cross-guard that does not match. The metal parts of the gun have lost most of their bluing with spotty wear and splotchy discoloration throughout. There are some areas of spotty oxidation here and there, most noticeable on the receiver and butt plate. Some obvious pitting along the barrel. The wood stock is very nice but there is an “R 1952” deeply engraved into the right side of the butt stock. The bore is mostly shiny with strong rifling, but there are some small areas of light surface oxidation here and there. Comes with a period-correct leather sling.
