8/9/23 – This is a very rare 1928 Dutch Navy DWM Luger with WW2-era capture certificate. There were fewer than 1,500 of this variation produced, with 4in barrel, Crown/N proofs, RUST marking in safety area and all in the range from 1-1484. This particular example is also in fantastic condition with 96-97% of the blue remaining. Only minor high point wear on the sideplate, muzzle, stock lug and receiver ears. Excellent bore and grips, which are unmarked. Excellent magazine with unmarked wooden base. The listing includes an original customs declaration certificate, stating the pistol was being brought back by T/5 John Rodgers in May of 1945. It is serialized to the pistol.
