8/2/23 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1940. All matching with the proper “Eagle 655” military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with a nice 1940-dated holster, a blank Luger tool, a mismatched “Eagle 655” marked magazine, and a mismatched “Eagle 63” marked magazine. The gun itself has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. There is minor thinning on the grip straps, minor spotty wear along the barrel, and areas of wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the side rails. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered and “Eagle 655” proofed wood grips. The bore is shiny for the most part with strong rifling, but there is some very light freckling in the grooves.
