8/1/23 – This is a very nice example of an early DWM Luger that was originally issued to the Imperial German military in 1911. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial proofs on the right side of the slide. It has the proper early features, such as no stock lug and originally had no hold-open (one was added later). The gun was reworked after WW1 and issued to the German police, as evidence by the “1920” government property marking on the chamber and added police sear safety. It also comes with matching-numbered WW2-era police magazine. The entire gun has been refinished. There is virtually no actual finish loss, but there is some minor pin-pricking under the finish here and there. Fitted with very nice un-numbered wood grips. Very nice bore with good rifling.
