7/26/23 – This is a nice example of a rare Polish Mauser K98 manufactured by Radom in 1929. Most of the parts are matching, except for the rear small parts of the bolt. Turn-down bolt configuration. No import marks. The metal parts have lost nearly all of their finish with obvious wear and light brown patina throughout. The wood shows obvious signs of wear throughout – dings, bruises, and scratches. There is a small hairline crack in the upper handguard, just behind the rear sight. There appears to be an additional serial number on the left side of the butt stock. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting and oxidation throughout.
