7/13/23 – This is an original WW2 Luftwaffe Observer’s Badge by C.E. Juncker. The badge is tombac construction (non magnetic), two pieces with a silver wreath. The wreath has high edge wear and light patina throughout but still shows some of the original silver finish throughout. The eagle is a mixture of dark and light shades of grey due to aging and light surface patina throughout. Maker stamped on the backside of the eagle. Excellent detail with original closure pin and both original attachment rivets secure. Comes with an original case as shown. The badge weighs 28 grams.
