6/20/23 – This is an original, later WW2 production Type 30 bayonet by Jinsen Arsenal. The bayonet is in Labar’s book as a Variation R, LB 162. The bayonet has very nice unfullered, blued blade that shows mild machine markings and some light finish loss but no major issues. The straight cross guard and rectangular pommel has speckling patina and dark discoloration as well as mild finish loss. The wood grips are straight and have two rivets with some mild bumps and dings but no major issues. Comes with a cone-tipped metal scabbard that’s in great overall condition.
