6/15/23 – This is a Pre-WW2 JGA Buscher Sportmodell training rifle chambered in 4mm. This rifle is matching on the receiver and barrel. No serial number on the bolt. The metal finish has mild surface wear throughout the receiver and barrel, with a concentration of finish loss being found where the barrel meets the receiver. Most of the wear is finish loss and surface patina. We rate around 65% overall condition. The wood stock is in great condition, but unfortunately is duffle cut in the middle. The stock has since been repaired and is held together with a wooden peg. The bore has no rifling, but is a clean smoothbore with shiny finish that we rate at 9.5/10. Comes with an unmarked period-correct leather sling.
