4/5/22 – This is an original US M-7 Grenade launcher for the M1 Garand rifle. These launchers were attached to the end of Garand’s from the end of WW2 through the Korean war. This launcher is in great overall condition with minor surface rust, but no deep corrosion. Maker stamped “KM” .The launcher affixes to the end of a M1 Garand on one end and a grenade (22mm) attaches to the other. A blank cartridge is fired from the rifle, which expands gases and propels the grenade much farther than a hand-toss. The M7 could fire grenades up to 380 yards.
