6/8/23 – This is a near-mint Springfield Armory M1A from 1989. The Springfield Armory M1A is a civilian version of the M14 rifle designed and manufactured by Springfield Armory, Inc., beginning in 1974. The term “M1A” is a proprietary title for Springfield Armory’s M14-pattern rifle. Early M1A rifles were built with surplus G.I. parts until Springfield Armory, Inc. began manufacturing their own. This one features a GI stock which is cut for a selector switch, and still has a (non-functional) selector switch attached. The rifle has minimal handling wear and a minty bore. Comes with an original bayo and the box for it, as well as a total of two magazines.
