6/7/23 – This is a nice example of a Baltimore Arms Model 1904 Side-by-Side Shotgun, manufactured in the early 1900’s and chambered in 12 GA. All matching. The barrels are Damascus steel, and the receiver is case-hardened. There is thinning on the underside of the receiver and on the trigger guard, but there isn’t a ton of actual finish loss overall. However, there is noticeable brown “attic” patina and spotty oxidation throughout. The Damascus patterning on the barrels is still intact, and the case colors on the receiver are mostly visible under the spotty oxidation. The wood furniture is nice overall, but there are minor scratches throughout and a few small notches on the left side of the stock. Black bakelite butt pad is intact. Minty, shiny bores. Fully functional.
