6/6/23 – This is a very nice example of a “VoPo” police luger, reworked by the East Germans after WW2. The frame was made by Mauser and dated 1942. Erfurt toggle. It is all matching, but many of the parts were arsenal-renumbered to match. It was also refinished at the arsenal and retains about 95%. There is minor wear, some oxidation, and some pin-pricking on the side plate and on the front edges of the side rails. Some very minor thinning and dulling of the finish on the grip straps. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips – they are fairly worn, and there is hairline crack on the right side. Both grips fit a little loose and wiggle a bit. Comes with a matching police arsenal-numbered Simson magazine. Mint bore.
