6/1/23 – This is a stunning example of a BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. All matching with the proper “Waffen 135” military acceptance proofs. This one is gorgeous, retaining nearly all of its original bluing. There are just hints of wear around the muzzle and very front edges of the slide and some minor discoloration on the top plate. Fitted with excellent period-correct black plastic grips. Comes with a a period-correct “Waffen 135” Mauser magazine. The bore is factory-new. De-cocker is functional.
