5/24/23 – This is an original World War II (WW2) RZM SS Dagger, in good overall condition, accompanied by an original scabbard. The scabbard exhibits evidence of having been repainted, and the metal base/toe of the scabbard has been replaced. The dagger blade displays mild surface patina and light speckling oxidation on both sides. The “Meine Ehre heißt Treue” inscription, though slightly faded from wear and aging, is still visible. The reverse side of the blade is RZM M7/14 maker stamped with a 1936 manufacture date. The cross guards, made of solid nickel, are in great condition with a few small blemishes and dings, but no major issues. The original grip has a crack in the front extending down from the pommel, and two similar small hairline cracks on the backside. The wood grip also exhibits some mild surface imperfections throughout. The price is set based on the condition.
