5/23/23 – This is a rare variation of a Luger magazine manufactured by Simson. The magazine features an early nickel tube and an aluminum base. The base is proof stamped with two eagle 6 Simson factory proofs, along with an “S” stamp on the lower part of the base. Notably, there is no serial number, nor any evidence of one ever being present, making this a desirable match for most examples. The magazine’s spine also bears a Simson proof stamp. There’s minimal surface wear, and the spring remains fully functional.
