5/12/23 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser Model 1934 that was issued to the German Army during WW2. This gun would have been produced just before the factory switched over to HSC production, around 1940 or so. It is Eagle/N proofed which helps to determine the date. It is also Nazi test-proofed on the back left side of the frame and Eagle/655 proofed, indicating it was issued to the German Army. These guns are fairly rare with an estimate of only ~8,000 procured by the army. This one comes as a rig with one period-correct magazine and a nice Akah holster. The gun itself has retained about 92-93% of its original high polish finish. Areas of wear on the front strap, underside of the trigger guard, around the muzzle, on the left side of the slide, and on the top of the slide near the ejection port. Fitted with a period-correct wood grip – some light chipping along the edges and a more noticeable chip in the bottom left corner. Mint bore.
