5/8/23 – This is an excellent example of a Smith & Wesson Model 37 Airweight revolver, manufactured around 1976 and chambered in .38 Special. 3″ barrel. It comes with a period-correct but mismatched box, owners manual, and cleaning rod (no brushes). There is very little finish loss on the gun. There is light freckling on both sides of the frame and along the right side of the barrel. An area of heavy oxidation and pitting on the cylinder. There is a textured blemish on the top strap, around the hammer, where it looks like the gun may have been dropped. Excellent wood grips. Mint bore.
