4/27/23 – This is an excellent WW2 era 22LR trainer for the German Army. The gun has retained about 80% of its original bluing, with some thinning and patina present on the receiver, barrel bands, and some minor muzzle wear. The rifle is matching on the receiver and bolt. The receiver is stamped with “BSW Suhl” stamps and “Mod W 625L”. The barrel is stamped “Fluss-Stahl Krupp Essen.” There is no major damage to the wood furniture, but there are minor dings and handling marks here and there. Stock has a waffenampt on the bottom and a “S” stamped under the pistol grip. Terrific bore.
